Certificate in Student Care Management
The Certificate in Student Care Management Course is specially designed for supervisors/teachers who work in Student Care Centres. In recent years, Student Care services have gained popularity among working parents. By being equipped with a Certificate in Student Care Management, you will be qualified to work at Little Professors Education Group’s Student Care branches and perhaps in other company’s student care centre as well.
Course instruction will be in English in the form of lectures, group discussions, presentations and practical workshops. The Practicum, is an essential component of the course and it provides participants with essential field experiences in teaching and working with students.

Objectives of Course:
1. To introduce participants to the development and management aspects of student care centres.
2. To develop a better understanding of the learning and developmental needs of children aged 6 to 14 years old.
3. To equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills of planning educational programmes and supervision of school work.
4. To develop communication and counseling skills
5. To learn how to build positive relationship with parents and the general public.
6. To enable course participants to be aware of the importance of eating healthy food, living a lifestyle and safety aspects of children.

Admission Requirements:
The Student Care Management Course is open to all staff working at Student Care Centres. Applicants must possess a minimum of four GCE ‘O’ level passes, with a credit in English Language. A selection interview conducted by Little Professors Education Group is necessary.

Award of Certificate
Upon successful completion of course work / test and the practicum, students will be awarded a Certificate in Student Care Management, offered by Little Professors Education Group Pte. Ltd.

Career Prospects
Successful graduates may apply for Job Placement opportunities with Little Professors Education Group Pte. Ltd. Only graduates awarded with a Certificate of Merit (Student Care Services) will be considered for the Job Placement Scheme.

Scholarship Scheme
Full Scholarship Scheme may be offered to those graduates who are successfully employed by Little Professors Education Group Pte. Ltd.. This is subjected to the Graduates’ work performance in the respective branch.

Certificate in Professional Tutoring
The Certificate in Professional Tutoring course was designed with the tutor in mind. All tutors of Little Professors Education Group Pte. Ltd. will have to attend this 3-days Professional Tutoring Course to help them be better tutors who are equipped with skills such as Educational Psychology, Managing Parents, Communication Skills, Effective Tutoring Techniques, Differentiated Learning, Design of Lesson Plans, as well as the pedagogy-centered approaches in tutoring English, Mathematics and Science. Little Professors Education Group also welcomes private tutors or other interested participants to join in our classes as well.

Assessment Criteria:
Mini-projects, assignments and practicum with Little Professors Education Group.
