Art and Craft

Students will be taught picture making, designs, 3D works and Art Appreciation. Teachers will be employing a variety of approaches to stimulate the pupils’ imaginations and creativity. Pupils will be allowed to dabble with paints, crayons, collage, clay, charcoal and acrylic. Outstanding students will also join competitions to gain further exposure and accolades.

General Knowledge (Newspaper Reading)

Newspapers are not just about keeping you informed about what happened yesterday. They are also about good writing, insightful analyses and thought-provoking ideas.  “Read the Newspapers” Programme suits students from Primary 4 to Secondary 5 level. The objective of this course is to encourage students to read <The Straits Times> and improve their language and writing skills. We believe that making a habit of reading The Straits Times will help students understand this rapidly-changing world better. And the better informed they are about Singapore and the world outside, the more they will be able to make sense of the changes around them. Students will be given newspaper clippings and will be taught to discuss and comment on issues relating to the news event.
